Clean Sweep for Tiverton Army Cadets
Tiverton Army Cadets teamed up with Mid Devon District Council to clean up the Grand Western Canal by completing a litter pick. The cadets wanted to get involved with a litter pick after the council visited the detachment in March, and talked to them about the problems litter causes. 15 Army Cadets from the detachment managed to collect 6 bags of rubbish at the litter pick in just 3 hours.
"A big thank you to all the Cadets and leaders who took part in this litter pick along the Canal on Sunday. Your help in working to keep this beautiful canal free of litter is very much appreciated and we wish the detachment all the best in its future activities." Mark Baker - Canal Manager
